About Me

Hi there! Welcome to Moneyvibe.

I’m a working professional based in the United States. I came to the U.S. as an international student, earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and navigated the full immigration journey — from OPT to H-1B to permanent residency (green card).

Through that process, I learned a lot about managing money in a new country — from opening my first bank account to building credit from scratch, filing taxes, and figuring out how to actually save while paying off student loans.

What This Blog Is About

  • Personal Finance — High-yield savings accounts, budgeting strategies, credit building, and smart money management tips.
  • U.S. Immigration — Real-world timelines and tips from someone who went through F-1 → OPT → H-1B → Green Card firsthand.
  • Life in the U.S. — Practical guides for immigrants and expats navigating everyday life in America.

Why I Started This Blog

When I was going through my immigration process, I wished there was a blog written by someone who had actually been through it. That’s exactly what I’m building here: honest, experience-based content that helps people make better decisions.

A Quick Note

Everything here is based on my personal experience. I’m not a licensed financial advisor or immigration attorney. Always consult professionals for your specific situation.
